Synthesis, Biological Evaluation, and SAR Studies of Varyingly Substituted 4-Thioflavonols

چکیده

A series of 4-thioflavonols compounds were synthesized by treating flavonols with lawsons reagent variable substituent groups at A, B, and AB rings. All the checked for antibacterial antifungal activity. We report that many found active against Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus, Methicillin-resistant bacterial strains and, C. albicans, parapsilosisstrains krusei fungal strains. Most to show enhanced antimicrobial activity than respective flavonol compounds.
